The dill in our little front bed herb garden is growing strong. In an attempt to try some out we made a batch of tzatziki sauce. With its lemony, cucumber, and dill flavors it tastes so fresh. It just screams summertime to me.
We are going to store it in the fridge for a few days and try it on everything from veggies, salads, wraps, to burgers and probably more! This made a huge batch. So if you are making it to have with a single item I would suggest halving the recipe. What would you eat it with?
2 cups plain Greek yogurt
1 cup sour cream
1 cup diced cucumber
2 cloves garlic
2 Tbsp dill
1 Tbsp lemon juice
Salt and pepper
In a food processor blend the cucumber, garlic, lemon juice and dill.
In a medium mixing bowl combine the cucumber mixture with the Greek yogurt and sour cream.
Salt and pepper to taste.
