I hope everyone had a great week. Thanks for checking out my weekly series, Week in Review, posted every Friday. Enjoy a recap of how the week went down and tell me about yours.
1) What’s gotten my attention this week?
Shipt Grocery Delivery. Everyone I know has been raving about Wal-Mart’s grocery pickup service. Well I’ve got one better for you, grocery delivery. We tried it. We LOVED it. It ended the argument in our house over who should go to the store, saved us time, and was super easy to use. I think this is going to come in extra handy around the holidays or when I’m sick. 2) What blog should you check out?
You’ve Been Hooked! Who is The Hook? Well read the “Who is The Hook” section on his blog. The question may or may not be answered, but you will end up loving his honest sense of humor by the time you are finished. It’s true. You’ll be hooked.
He is a hotel bellman in Niagara Falls, Canada who states, “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. What happens in Niagara Falls? That goes on my blog.” While there is plenty about all the crazy that happens in the hospitality industry, his blog also has other musings on various topics, which include but are not limited to film, current events, and IBS. Check it out.
3) What’s been going on this week?
Getting ready for my son to start school. Back to school night was on Wednesday, and school starts today. I’m sending prayers and good thoughts for a successful year for all kiddos, teachers, and parents embarking on a new school year. Sidenote: Why do they even bother with starting school on a Friday? Is there a reason they don’t just wait till Monday? Anybody know?
4) What’s going on this weekend?
Not sure yet. I know I whine about migraines a lot, but they have hijacked several weekends recently. So no plans. I am going to play it by ear depending on how I feel.

Thanks for reading. How was your week? Tell me, what are you up to this weekend?

Oh Lacey, it was magnificent. I really needed the break from internet and phone, you know? The retreat center was glorious, right by a lake and woods and a gorgeous path around it. We spent such time in the quiet, looking inward. Loved it! How was your weekend, Lacey? Love and blessings xoxo

I love getting away and unplugging. I always say we are cabin people. When we get away it’s to a cabin in the mountains, a cabin in the woods, a cabin on the lake. . . I bet it was beautiful.
It was an okay weekend. Just trucked right along 🙂
Blessings to you too. I hope your week is going well.

School start-up on a Friday? That sounds kind of pointless. Hope your migrains aren’t too bad.

That’s what I thought too!
Thanks, I had a baby one that I kept at bay.

That’s good. Migraines are not an easy thing to deal with so I can only imagine what you go through. This past weekend went well thank you. We’ve been lucking out with living in nature so far 🤞(fingers crossed), all though the weather tends to be a hit or miss.

It was terrible. Like the worst. At the end of last year we were told he would be in the afternoon class. Sometime over summer it got changed to the morning class, and we didn’t know. Rhonda, we missed the first day of school. But Monday went great!!
