I hope everyone had a great week. Thanks for checking out my weekly series, Week in Review, posted every Friday. Enjoy a recap of how the week went down and tell me about yours.
1) What’s gotten my attention this week?
The Good Place. It’s a show starring Kristen Bell. The first season is on Netflix. It’s been the perfect thing to watch while I’ve been laid up fighting off being sick (yes still sick). It’s a half hour show. So the episodes are quick and completely hilarious. It’s about a character named Eleanor who finds herself in “the good place” after she dies. She learns she is there by mistake and spends her time trying to hide her secret so she can stay.
2) What blog should you check out?
Consistent Fitness Life. Leslie is a fitness guru and a foodie. Her blog strives to help people feel their best emotionally and physically, not just encouraging working out and mindful nutrition for the sake of looking better. So check out this blog for encouragement, tips, and an easy and healthy pumpkin bread recipe.

3) What’s been going on this week?
I want to skip this section. I am tired of talking about sickness. 2 weeks ago it was my son. Last week it was the rest of the house. And while everyone seems to be doing better, I can’t seem to kick it. Something started out as like allergy/sinus issues and moved to my chest. I’ve lost my voice. I’m so tired of it, and we are just at the start of cold and flu season.
In an effort to not be totally sick and whiny for another week in a row, I’ll include a story my 3 year old daughter told me this week. In her story she went to the beach and was eaten by a big crocodile. While she was inside the crocodile she went HIYA (insert karate chop here). The crocodile spit her up. She was really icky. She was at the beach though so she just washed herself off. And remember, watch out for witches. The end.
4) What’s going on this weekend?
REST. REST. REST. Oh and the OU/Texas game. Boomer Sooner!
5) Did you miss this post?
What does a purple teddy bear have to do with potty training? Check this post out for another example of how our daughter keeps us on our toes and how that taught me a pretty big lesson.
Thanks for reading. How was your week? Tell me, what are you up to this weekend?

I’m glad that I found your “Week In Review’ series of blog posts. Cool idea. I also love The Good Place. It makes my Thursdays… which lead to my Fridays… which lead to the weekend. 😉

Thanks! My blog posts are all over the place. So those are my attempt at consistency.
I haven’t been watching the second season, but maybe I should. I could use s boost on Thursdays.
