I hope everyone had a great week. Thanks for checking out my weekly series, Week in Review, posted every Friday. Enjoy a recap of how the week went down and tell me about yours.
1) What’s gotten my attention this week?
A peacock. I stumbled across this article about someone being denied their emotional support peacock from boarding a flight. That’s right, someone wanted their peacock to board an airplane with them. Um . . .so. . .yeah. I’m all for service and support animals, but maybe this is a good place to draw a line?
2) What blog post should you check out?
‘Asperger Syndrome Is An Emotionless Disorder’ and Alexithymia. It’s a post from a grown woman with Asperger Syndrome first hand debunking the myth that it is an emotionless disorder. Take this opportunity to read and learn about a new perspective. It may even help you better understand someone around you.
**I had a Meet and Greet recently where I asked bloggers to share their favorite posts from 2017. I’m going to a highlight a post a week from the links left. If you would like to leave a link and have a piece highlighted on a Week in Review post, click here and leave it in the comments.**
3) What’s been going on this week?
Still under the weather. Guys, I’m struggling. I’ve been to the doctor, and I will get better. It’ll be a few weeks though. I probably won’t be posting much but will try to at least keep up with the Week in Review posts. I’m also WAY behind (and will probably continue to be) on reading your awesome blogs. I’m sorry, but I’ll catch up when I’m able to.
4) What’s going on this weekend?
I don’t know how this will work out. I’m hoping I some how get to rest while my kids are able to run off all their pent up energy.
5) Did you miss this post?
4 Reasons Why Sunday is the Worst Day for Restaurant Servers. Since I just passed the 2nd anniversary of starting this blog I thought it’d be fun to go back and share my very first post. Any former or current restaurant workers here? Check this post out and let me know if I missed anything.
6) What did my kids create?
No big stage productions this week, but here is some of their artwork.
Thanks for reading. How was your week? Tell me, what are you up to this weekend?
