Week in Review 4/27/18

I hope everyone had a great week. Thanks for checking out my weekly series, Week in Review, posted every Friday. Enjoy a recap of how the week went down and tell me about yours.

1) What’s gotten my attention this week?

Skiddies. I got some in a swag bag from an event I went to last week. They are supposed to help protect underwater during the ‘I can’t wipe so well yet’ phase. What do you think? Helpful or not so much?

 

2) What blog post should you check out?

A Woman/Housewife. This post contains thoughts about the traditional working husband/stay-at-home mom roles from a young, unmarried woman. Since I work and my husband stays home, the perceptions don’t apply to me personally but is still interesting to consider. Check it out.

3) What’s been going on this week?

Werk werk werk werk werk. Work has been busy. The hubs and kiddos visited me at the office one day though, and this little lady brightened the place up.

4) What’s going on this weekend?

I dunno. There’s a lot I need to do. It seems like if I do even one extra thing outside of my regular week that it takes me days to recuperate. The first trimester sickness may have passed (even though chicken is still the devil!), but the second trimester energy has yet to arrive.

5) Did you miss this post?

Book Reviews: Thru-Hiking Will Break Your Heart, This is Just my Face Try Not to Stare, Ready Player One. Have you read any of these or reading anything good now?

6) What did my kids create?

Bad mom moment. I didn’t get a picture of my son’s first school assignment to draw a picture of his family. I was pleased he even included the dogs!
