I hope everyone had a great week. Thanks for checking out my weekly series, Week in Review, posted every Friday. Enjoy a recap of how the week went down and tell me about yours.
1) What’s gotten my attention this week?
Wheeler’s Meat Market. There is a little meat market that’s been around for 50+ plus years. While not in the best part of town, it is right off the highway and easy to get in and out off. It feels a little bit like stepping back in time, and it’s customers are loyal. I dropped in and bought a meat pack this week. For $80 we are stocked up for weeks with quality meat. I didn’t pull the trigger on getting one of these tomahawk steaks, but I’m still debating on going back for one. Maybe they’ll still have them around Father’s Day time. . . .
2) What blog post should you check out?
I’m excited to share a post from one of my best blogger friends, Rhonda. She’s over at the Thankful Heart. Most of her posts are of delicious recipes you’d wish could be teleported straight to you. She also sprinkles in some solid book recommendations or whatever adventure she’s been on recently. Wonderful Woodsy Wedding Weekend is one of her adventure posts about attending her granddaughter’s gorgeous outdoor wedding. Check it out.
**I had a Meet and Greet recently where I asked bloggers to share their favorite posts from 2017. I’m going to a highlight a post a week from the links left. If you would like to leave a link and have a piece highlighted on a Week in Review post, click here to leave it in the comments.**
3) What’s been going on this week?
Um it’s been a doozie guys. There have been sick kids, crazy weather, flat tires, busy work schedules. Let’s just say I am glad we made it to Friday.
4) What’s going on this weekend?
Well the crazy weather included a tornado warning. This in turn made my husband and I realize we need to clean out the garage so we can get to our storm shelter easier. We have an exciting weekend of deep cleaning and purging ahead of us!
5) Did you miss this post?
Our Adagio Tea Party. Read about and check out some super cute pictures from a tea part we threw recently.
6) What did my kids create?
They were under the weather this week. We had lots of TV and snuggle time and not a lot of fun creations. I think that means there’ll be something amazing next week though. Here’s a few pictures of them from a visit to my dad and step-mom’s farm last weekend though before they went downhill. Feeding fish and goats is always a good time.
Thanks for reading. How was your week? What are you up to this weekend?
