I was in decent shape and in great health when I found out I was pregnant with our third baby. Naively, I thought this would make for an easy pregnancy. I know it could be worse, but I have struggled – and struggled hard – this time around. I was sick well into my second trimester, cannot keep my iron or energy levels up, and am holding down a full time job with two small kids at home.
At the end of every day I feel tired and defeated.
It’s been a hard pregnancy, but several people I love are having a difficult time getting pregnant or staying pregnant.
In the moment it is tough not to feel sorry for myself when I have had to leave my office every hour to rush to the bathroom to be sick . . . This is my latest post published on Oklahoma City Moms Blog. Read the rest by clicking here.
This is a lovely way to think about the inconveniences you’re going through right now. I hope you feel better physically, but I know that your heart and mind are in the right place so overall you’re doing fine. Hang in there! 🌻

Thanks Ally. I’m at the “uncomfortable all the time stage” now. I’m trying to power through without making everyone around me miserable!

Hang in there, girl! The cool thing about being human is we can’t remember pain, only that we endured it. With my son, I was sick in the first trimester, with my daughter? The whole nine months. I had to be hospitalized the last 6 weeks since she attached low and I bled. I call her my fingernail baby! She’s 26 now!

Oh Susie, fingernail baby? That made me cringe lol. This one is carrying much lower than my other two, and it is much more painful. Not as bad as yours, but I feel for what you went through. It does help to hear she’s 26 now though, thank you!

She hung on by her fingernails. LOL!
Both of my kids are happy and healthy, and my best friends!

Lacey, you’re physically strong because you know how to ask for help, ie moral support from other moms to encourage you. You got this girl! You ARE strong! You’re a working mom.

Thanks, Kris! It does help hearing from other mamas.

No sleep, Lacey. It’s been full of cuteness, but also restlessness 😑 I do love the little guy though 😍
