1) What’s gotten my attention this week?
This article entitled Woman Who Married 300-Year-Old Pirate Ghost Announces Their “Marriage is Over”. Ummmm. What?
2) What post should you check out?
Do you remember in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe when the queen gave Edmund Turkish delight? Me too, but I never knew what it was. Well this post on the blog Cast Iron Dan not only answers what it is but tells us how to make it. Dan consistently puts out unique food posts that I promise are worth you checking out.
3) What’s been going on this week?
A Wii remote went through the TV on accident by a certain 4 year old (who also bowled a 175!). She thinks it just may be an improvement because now the TV has “rainbows”. This is TV #3 in 8 years. We had to replace the previous one when another certain someone put a yo yo through it.
My mom also popped into to work one day to take me to a birthday lunch. Yum!
We are looking at switching coffee vendors at work and had a local company come in for a tasting. Yum again!
4) What’s going on this weekend?
Well today is my birthday. Yes my actual birthday. And even though we are broke from Christmas and apparently in the market for a new TV the hubs said he is ‘taking care of my birthday.’ Eek! I wonder what that means?
5) Did you miss this post?
A birthday and blog anniversary meet and greet. Bloggers have been sharing links of their favorite posts from their our own blogs from 2018. It would be honored if any bloggers reading this would participate. Consider it an easy birthday present to me:)
6) What did my kids create?
Canvases for their room. The kids got some art supplies for Christmas. So during a snow day over winter break we created these. Using masking tape we made their first initials, painted the entire canvas, and took the tape off when the paint was all dry. I think it turned out pretty cool.

Here’s a way-late Happy Birthday! The art projects are so bright a vivid! Fun! And your Mom is awesome for brining in that sumptuous lunch! I’m curious what Mitchell planned for your birthday. Have to keep reading!! Oh, and sorry about the tv. We have to keep resetting the brightness on ours so I”M afraid we might be in the same fix. hugs hugs!
