1) What’s gotten my attention this week?

This Complete Guide to Getting Outside with Kids in OKC. I’m not the author, but 2 of my cutie pie kids are in the post several times. I know we are ready to get summer fun started, and this extensive list is gonna help!

3) What’s been going on this week?

We are in the midwest season sweet spot. You know the few weeks between “freeze your balls off” winter and “sweat your balls off” summer that we call spring. So after being cooped up in the office all day, I’ve been trying to get outside in the evenings. My hand is still broken and healing slow. So there has been less gardening this year and more walks around the block. I’m in good company though.

4) What’s going on this weekend?

Saturday might be rainy. I think I need to spring clean so I can stand to be inside my house. I especially need to clean out my closet but have been putting that off. I had lost all my baby weight by October but put it back on after returning to work. I dread going through all the summer clothes that I know are mostly going to not fit.

6) What did my kids create?

A wonderful Mother’s Day. Dad helped with the brunch, and their teachers helped with the gifts. The kids put all the thought into it. It was perfect.
