I hope everyone had a great week. Thanks for checking out my weekly series posted every Friday, Week in Review. Enjoy a recap of how the week went down, and tell me about yours.
1) What’s gotten my attention this week?
Deanna Wiles Photography. I am sending a BIG shout out to my book club buddy and friend for helping me update my headshot. If you are in the Moore/Norman/OKC area I recommend you click here to follow her on Facebook.
2) What post should you check out?
This Marinated Mozzarella Flatbread Recipe, because my kids have always loved cheese and are recently obsessed with flatbread. Yum.
3) What’s been going on this week?
Eureka Springs. My aunt and uncle recently retired to a cabin in Eureka Springs, AR. They graciously hosted my family for fall break where we had cozy cabin time,
mini hikes and walks,
encounters with local wildlife,
and overall an amazing time. Lots and lots of fond memories were made.
4) What’s going on this weekend?
Unless I am forgetting something, we just may have a free weekend. The weather is forecasted to be beautiful. If nobody gets sick and everyone is rested, we will find some kind of adventure to get into.
5) Did you miss this post?
Why I Stopped Skipping the Bad Parts. It turns out that my kids can handle it.
6) What did my kids create?
Drafts for entries in the National PTA Reflections Art Program. Last year’s theme was more concrete, Everyday Heros, and easier for my young kiddos to grasp. This year is a little tougher, Look Within. We’ll see what they ultimately come up with to enter. The drafts here are drawings of kindness, friendship, bedtime prayers, and a design of how they want the front porch to be decorated for Halloween.
Thanks for reading. How was your week? What are you up to this weekend?
