I hope everyone had a great week. Thanks for checking out my weekly series posted every Friday, Week in Review. Enjoy a recap of how the week went down, and tell me about yours.
1) What’s gotten my attention this week?
Custom made stamps. These make perfect gifts for teachers or that hard-to-shop-for person that already has everything.
2) What post should you check out?
Frosted Gingerbread Bars. Now that it is December it is officially time to start making all the Christmas treats. Start here. Colleen from Leen Cuisine always posts a ton of delicious festive recipes this time of year.
3) What’s been going on this week?
Sickness. I picked up a nasty case of strep with a hefty side of sinus infection. I took 2 full days off work, which is rare for me. The hubs and I also had our 9 year wedding anniversary. He celebrated by picking up my prescriptions and making me homemade soup.
Before getting sick though, we had Thanksgiving 3/3 combined with Christmas 1/4. I got to see all my siblings and my newest nephew who lives out of state.
4) What’s going on this weekend?
Relaxing? I hope? The rest of December is busy, busy, busy. This will be our last chance for some downtime for a while, and I still need to recoup from being sick. The kids will need to get out of the house and run off some steam. Hopefully, we can find a happy balance.
5) Did you miss this post?
I’m still promoting the Moms Supporting Moms Shopping Guide. Check it out. Share it.
6) What did my kids create?
Ornaments. We had Art Night at the kids’ school this week, one of my favorite events. The kids and classes make art projects to sell and have art activities and auctions the night of the event. I love this idea for a fundraiser instead of selling chocolates or wrapping paper. I also love that our tree (the top half anyway) is filled with handmade kid ornaments.
Thanks for reading. How was your week? What are you up to this weekend?
