I hope everyone had a great week. Thanks for checking out my weekly series posted every Friday, Week in Review. Enjoy a recap of how the week went down, and tell me about yours.
1) What’s gotten my attention this week?
This article, The Parents Are Not All Right, that a friend sent to me. While I do think that our little family has adjusted okay, and while I do love being home with my family, I have had a hard time working from home for this extending time. I feel this article. Maybe you do too.
2) What blog post should you check out?
3) What’s been going on this week?
Distance Learning. We started it this week with the 2 bigger kids while I am working full time from home, and there’s an 18-month-old running around getting into everything. But you what? I had built it up to be so bad and hard in my head, that I was completely blown away when it went alright. These kids are troopers, man. The two older kiddos get up and first thing they want to do is knock out all of their school work. They’ve been getting a big chunk done with the hubs in the morning before the baby even wakes up.
4) What’s going on this weekend?
Easter. Some neighbors have decorated their porches with paper eggs so families can drive around and do a distant egg hung. We also get to dye eggs because my awesome sister was able nab some from the store for us. We also get to have a ham dinner because we were able to nab one from the store this week. We will probably watch a church service online. We will probably be in our pajamas. It will be a good Easter even of it is different.
5) Did you miss this post?
5 Unique Ways to Stay Connected While Social Distancing. How are you staying connected?
6) What did my kids create?
A pizzeria. Flamingo and Monster helped the kids decorate a pizza box, and the hubs helped the kids make a pizza. Then he put the pizza in their pizza box. Then I went around the house and rang the front doorbell to deliver it to them.
Thanks for reading. How was your week? What are you up to this weekend?
