About Me

Thanks for stopping by to check out BigAndPinkyToes: A Blog about Food, Family, and Other Good Stuff.

I am a wife and mom. I am the breadwinner, and my husband stays home. We have 2 young kiddos. My daughter is silly, sassy, and dances nonstop. My son is a sweet, creative inventor recently diagnosed with autism. We also have 2 mini dachshunds that are like living with a pair cartoon characters.

We have a small happy home that is full of playing, laughing, eating, praying, gardening, reading, napping, dancing, and hugging puppies. Sometimes I post about a recipe I came up with over the weekend. Other times I post about the highs and lows of parenting. Heck sometimes I post about a book I’ve read or what my husband and I are currently watching on TV.

Even though my post topics maybe all over the place, I have a Week in Review series posted every Friday at an attempt for some consistency. I highlight a few things that happened that week, what’s planned for the upcoming weekend, and feature another blog worth checking out. ***If you want your blog highlighted on a Week in Review post, leave a link in the comments by clicking here. ***

  2. Glad to have come across you as I am also a mum of two sons now grown up and I have two lovely grand daughters. I also have done a lot of running around but now that I am past all that, I have settled down to doing more things with my head. As that side was on hold until the children became adults and left home 🙂
Thank you for liking my blog. I have worked as an ESL volunteer tutor in Australia and now stopped working to dedicate myself fully for the cause of mental wellness. I am so grateful for being able to overcome long term (15 years) depression. And now studying psychology for added knowledge for myself, as well as to give out and also to show the world that people who get classified being mentally ill are Not mad but that they can become well/recover enough even to study and become normal citizens in the society. I want to encourage to give Hope to everyone that crosses my path to be able to live better, happier and above all in Dignity. Many Blessings of Love and Light to all 🙂 ❤
