About Me

Profile photo for Lacey Hamilton

Thanks for stopping by to check out BigAndPinkyToes: A Blog about Family, Food, and Other Good Stuff.

I am a low-maintenance, breadwinning wife and mom. The hubs and I have 3 young kiddos. We have 2 fun, sassy girls and a sweet, inventive boy who happens to have autism. There are also 2 mini dachshunds running around that are like living with a pair of cartoon characters. Our home is small and happy and full of playing, laughing, eating, praying, gardening, reading, napping, dancing, and hugging puppies.

Sometimes I post about a recipe I came up with over the weekend. Other times I post about the highs and lows of parenting. Heck, sometimes I post about a book I’ve read or what the hubs and I are currently watching on TV.

Even though my topics are all over the place, I have a Week in Review series posted every Friday at an attempt for some consistency. I highlight a few things that happened that week, what’s planned for the upcoming weekend, and feature another blog worth checking out.

Be sure to follow me on Facebook, Pintrest, Instagram, or Twitter. Or hit me up at bigandpinkytoes@gmail.com. I am also a contributing writer for the Oklahoma City Moms Blog

  2. Glad to have come across you as I am also a mum of two sons now grown up and I have two lovely grand daughters. I also have done a lot of running around but now that I am past all that, I have settled down to doing more things with my head. As that side was on hold until the children became adults and left home 🙂
Thank you for liking my blog. I have worked as an ESL volunteer tutor in Australia and now stopped working to dedicate myself fully for the cause of mental wellness. I am so grateful for being able to overcome long term (15 years) depression. And now studying psychology for added knowledge for myself, as well as to give out and also to show the world that people who get classified being mentally ill are Not mad but that they can become well/recover enough even to study and become normal citizens in the society. I want to encourage to give Hope to everyone that crosses my path to be able to live better, happier and above all in Dignity. Many Blessings of Love and Light to all 🙂 ❤

  4. Hey
Thank you for taking the time to step on over to Love Relaished Ink. It’s wonderful to have your whimsical soul as a new companion on my long and winding road.
From what I have seen of your blog so far, I’ve no doubt you are already finding writing a totally engaging and personally fulfilling experience. I hope the pleasurable company of words will always flow and follow you as you flow following the flow of your flowing path flowing into the wide blue yonder, and flow onwards towards the adventures that follow the flow beyond that…
Best wishes. Take care always in all ways for always.
    Namaste

  5. I am really enjoying reading your blog!! I am going to read more later, but my boys have reached their limit of allowing mom to sit at her computer before we start trying to kill each other. 🙂 I had started a blog 7 years ago, but recently started a new one because so much has changed. I’m really enjoying getting into writing again. I love finding other moms who blog! Have a great day!!
