Week in Review

Week in Review 3/15/2019

I hope everyone had a great week. Thanks for checking out my weekly series posted every Friday, Week in Review. Enjoy a recap of how the week went down, and tell me about yours.

1) What’s gotten my attention this week?

Blue and Gold. Blue and Gold is a local company that processes and sells their own meat products but provides them to be sold exclusively through schools, teams, and civic organizations. Everyone I know gets excited about fundraising season and getting their hands on the very best sausage and bacon money for a good cause can buy. My kids just wrapped up a fundraiser selling Blue and Gold for their school’s PTA. I’m excited that our fridge is currently stocked full of this stuff. I plan on having breakfast for breakfast and breakfast for dinner every day until it’s gone!

2) What post should you check out?

My Word for 2019 on the blog Rosie Culture. So Rosie is a fun 20-something lifestyle blogger. The word she chose to aspire to reflect her year is perfect and 100% represents her blog. Hop on over to read about it.

3) What’s been going on this week?

It’s been another nutty week. Work’s been nuts. We’ve had doctor appointments, dentist appointments, and parent-teacher conferences this week. Even with having a stay-at-home parent it feels like we could use an assistant to keep up with everything going on.

4) What’s going on this weekend?

A baby shower. My sweet little sister is visiting from Michigan so we can through her a giant baby shower. I’m pumped to see her and get everyone together to celebrate our newest nephew.

5) Did you miss this post?

I did a sponsored piece for an ABA therapy clinic opening in Norman. Click here to read it.

6) What did my kids create?

Here is my daughter hard at work creating yarn monsters.

Here are some landmarks my son made with stuff around the house. If I remember right Big Ben, Neuschwanstein Castle, and the Great Pyramids are represented below.

Thanks for reading. How was your week? What are you up to this weekend?

  2. Oh Lacey, I love yarn monsters!! 🙂 And, it sounds like you have a wonderful weekend in store with your sister and the baby shower. So much Light to all.

I’m preparing for a class that I’m offering called “Find the Blessing in Your Money Story”. It’s complimentary and by Zoom, the same technology that we used in our session together. You’re welcome to attend, although it sounds like you may have your hands full.

Blessings to you, Lacey. Know that I’m sending loving,
    Debbie
