  1. How sweet. Another thing about gardening with kids is that they are fearless. My nephews will happily present me with worms\snakes\beetles – all things that I avoid, they want to proudly put in my hand.

  2. Wonderful article Lacey! All great tips! I often forget #2, and that is usually the case when children gets messy while having fun.
I love the pictures of your adorable kids. Cuties! 🙂

  4. Hi Lacey– those ‘dirty” photos are priceless!! So fun to see your work on the Moms Blog!! We planted sunflowers with the grand-girls a couple years ago and I texted them photos with a yardstick next to them as they grew. So have you started in planting yet for this year??? What’s on the list? xox

    1. That sounds fun! I’ve tried to to sunflowers once and was not successful :/ But I’ve heard they are supposed to be easy? I wanted some of those big, giant ones.

Yes! We have some herbs in the front bed and only about 4 small rows of the stuff in the backyard. Maybe I sure put that in my week in review post for this week.

      Are you growing anything yet?

      1. Hi Lacey– we just have a sad basil plant and some tomatoes. Larry is really the veggie gardener and I do flowers. He’s retiring in August– and then I have high hopes for all our yard & house projects!! (Watch out Larry!). Happy Easter friend! xo
