Week in Review

Week in Review 9/15/17

I hope everyone had a great week. Thanks for checking out my weekly series, Week in Review, posted every Friday. Enjoy a recap of how the week went down and tell me about yours.

1) What’s gotten my attention this week?

Equifax. Equifax has had me fuming. Where to even start!

First, this explains the recent fraudulent activity on our credit card. Second, I never had a choice for Equifax to have my information or not. Third, their system of checking to see if my information may have been compromised seems like a joke. Out of curiosity, has anyone gotten a message from that link, www.equifaxsecurity2017.com, that says their information has not been exposed? It seems like it is generating the same response for everyone.

The real cherry on top is that the company that gave my information away is now offering to monitor my credit for free for one year. How generous! Since now my information will be out there forever.

2) What blog should you check out?

Marci & Me. Woot Woot! Brittni is the woman behind this blog. She also just so happens to be my “little sis” on the Oklahoma City Moms Blog. Brittni is a Christian wife and mom (to Marci) who shares all about her faith, DIY projects, recipes and more. Check it out.

3) What’s been going on this week?

Fraiser re-runs. The weather has been SO beautiful. Wouldn’t it be nice if I said I’ve ran around with kiddos doing fun outside things all week? Yeah. . . . Instead work has been busy and by the time I get home and have dinner, I’ve been zapped. So we’ve had lots of snuggle time and Netflix. Also, I’ve said before and I’ll say it again, Niles is by far my favorite TV character ever.

4) What’s going on this weekend?

A birthday party. My niece is having a mermaid themed birthday party that my kids have been looking forward to for a month. I am excited to go to the party AND for them to stop asking if it’s time to go to the party.

  1. Hi ya Lacey, been a busy week as always and not been able to keep up with blogs much, hopefully this weekend with yield some quiet time. It looks like you’re having fun though and as for Equifax, I have to shake my head and the blatant robbery of out information from anywhere on the internet. What can be done about it I have no idea.

    1. I hear you Simon. I try my hardest to keep up with blog reading but some weeks I am better than others.
Yes! It sounds crazy, but at this point I almost think all new ssn#s should be issued.
I hope you have a great weekend! Thanks for stopping by.

    1. We watched it last weekend. Thanks so much for the recommendation. My husband and I both loved it, and it was neat to see him show off is acting chops in a different way. At first I couldn’t watch him and not think of Niles. Then I watched Niles and couldn’t stop thinking of him as the character in this movie!

    1. Aw thanks for checking her blog out. Brittni is so sweet.
That’s the best kind of multi-tasking. You don’t have to feel guilty watching TV at all because you are still being productive!
