My blog anniversary and my birthday are both at the beginning of January. The last 2 years I have hosted a meet and greet to celebrate both. It was so fun before that I am going to do it again this year.

We are going to share links to our favorite posts from 2019.

How does it work?

  • Introduce yourself, your blog, and your post(s) in the comments.
  • Include a link to your favorite post(s) from your blog from 2019, and check out the links others leave.
  • Feel free to leave more than 1 link. Leave 1 link per comment though. That will keep it from getting flagged as spam.
  • Feel free to share on social media or reblog, this post or any that you find in the comments.
  • Come back and keep checking out the comments. I would love to keep this going all week, wrapping up on Friday depending on participation.
  • For every link left here, I will highlight one a week in my Week in Review series.

Click the titles below to read my favorite posts from the last year.

Easy Homemade Chili. This recipe was reviewed by Hunida’s Blog and also got 2nd place in a chili cookoff contest at work. It’s a staple in our house during cold weather seasons.

Moms Supporting Moms Holiday Shopping Guide. I know the holidays are over, but I am proud that I got to share this space to collaborate, promote, and support some hard-working mamas I know. Their businesses are still worth checking out in the new year.

Okay, your turn! Drop your favorite links from 2019 in the comments.

Thank you for helping me celebrate 3 years of blogging and 37 years of living.

  1. Happy Bloggiversary, Lacey!! Congratulations for this milestone 🙂

I am Cyranny, and I live in Montréal, Canada. I’ve been calling The Cove a convenience blog, because it is a melting pot of very different posts. Fiction, poetry, humor photography, personal thoughts and traveling memories… And lots of references to Denmark, because I just love everything about the country!

I had trouble choosing a post to represent my blog, So I decided to pick the one that had the most success in 2019. It is about a challenge I started, hoping to invite people to spread kindness around them. I just wanted to remind my readers that sometimes, it doesn’t cost much to make a difference in someone else’s life… And although the actual challenge took place in August, you can always join in. There is no ”best before” date on kindness!

Kind Hearted Challenge – August Edition

*Big hugs* Lacey!! Here’s to (at least) three more years of blogging 🙂 xx

    1. Oh, Cranny, i think you picked the perfect post to share. What a great way to start the new year by revisiting this one. I’m already thinking about who I should send mine too.
Thank you for sharing here. Also, I call my blog ‘all over the place’ since it doesn’t have a niche. Your description of a convenience blog though, I like that better.

      1. Ohh, it’s so nice of you to join the challenge 🙂 I am sure this will make a difference in that lucky person’s life!

I like ”all over the place” blogs. They are like a bag of surprises, or Forrest Gump’s box of chocolates 😉

    2. Thank you for being the first to participate in my meet and greet AND for helping to spread the word about it. I sincerely love what you decided to share, and it is highlighted in my Week in Review today. Have a great weekend!

  2. Congratulations Lacey!
My name is Joe Love, I do a lot of writing, some of which makes it to my Primoweb blog. Sometimes it’s a song, a poem, something inspirational, or just something I found interesting or helpful. I don’t blog on a regular schedule, but I’m looking to get more into the groove where the inspiration happens more often.

One of my posts I enjoyed writing this past year was “America, the beautiful”. It was a creative work, however, I’m not quite sure what to call it– it’s probably not a poem, however I was feeling “poetic” when I wrote it. It was published in a few papers and other places. Feel free to leave comments on it.

      1. Hi Oneta, there should be a follow button on the top right of the page of my blog, under the social media icons.
Do you have a link to a post of yours you would like to share?

      2. Yes, I found it; when I lowered my zoom to 80% it came into view. I would like to enter your meet and greet by connecting a link. I’ll look something up. I want to do it when I have time to read some. I plan to be back. 😀

  3. Congratulations Lacey!
I am Saumya and I blog at Randomness Inked. I usually share my poetry and talk about my psychological growth as an individual. I also host a weekly writing prompt challenge (on Sundays).
I really can’t decide on one post that I should share. So I’m sharing the link to my Homepage, where you can find my posts categorised as latest ones, trending ones, reader favs, my favs. Feel free to browse through the different categories and read whatever interests you. I would live to hear your thoughts. Thanks! 🙂

  4. Hi, I’m Annie, I live in Louisville, Kentucky, and I am seeking divine perspective. That is, I am looking to see things God’s way (the way they really are) instead of the flawed way the world sees them. I’m convinced that most, if not all our problems start with our having the wrong perspective.
Being “technologically challenged, I’m not sure I linked this properly, but it is my perspective on eternity after watching the Kentucky Derby last May 5, “The Kentucky Derby and Judgment Day.”

      1. We are in self isolation, as our eldest son may have brought the virus home. Our youngest (only 19!) lives 80 miles away and is also isolating, as he has been in contact with a known case. So I’m a bit stressed, to be frank. Your kids look lovely — keep hanging on in there! 🙂

  7. Happy birthday and blogiversary, lets have a look and see what I can put in here.

For anyone reading this I’m Simon and I run my blog called Beyond the Infinite, with posts on thoughts, concepts, creativity with a theme around Sci-Fi and the the universe. It’s taken nearly seven years to get here and I’m still developing it.

I looked back at some of my posts though 2019 and I came up firstly with this:

    What’s the Energy with Matter?

Where I think about energy and matter and how they are more interchangeable than we think.

  8. Happy Birthday, and Happy Blogiversary, Lacey! And Happy New Year, too! 😀

For those of you I haven’t had the pleasure of crossing paths with yet in this awesome blogosphere, I’m Angelica (aka Quirky Girl) from Comically Quirky. I enjoy writing about the humor in everyday life, especially as a mom of two teenage boys…and a goofy dog. The aforementioned dog has somehow (temporarily) taken over the blog with his Tails ‘n’ Tweets series.

This post is particularly fun, as it highlights the pros and cons of kids vs dogs. Thanks for checking it out! 🙂 https://comicallyquirky.com/2017/10/07/snips-snails-and-puppy-dog-tails/

  9. Hi all! I was an elementary teacher but now I stay home with my two kids. I haven’t been blogging here as much lately but I have been continuing to post to YouTube and my Instagram. I have really gotten into editing videos and creating graphics recently. I hope it’s okay that I share a video my husband and I just created after the holidays. I look forward to connecting with all of you soon!
